This Privacy Policy explains how Comic Brief ("Comic Brief", "we", "us", or "our") handles personal information when you visit our website, create an account, use AI comic generation features, purchase credits or subscriptions, or contact support. It does not cover third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide, including your name, email address, profile image, sign-in details, support messages, and billing-related records. Payment processors receive payment credentials directly; Comic Brief does not store complete card numbers.

When you create with Comic Brief, we process prompts, selected formats and art styles, character details, uploaded reference images, generated outputs, task history, and credit usage. We also receive basic technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, request timestamps, referring pages, and security logs.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• create and secure accounts;
• provide AI generation, Agent, character, storage, and task-history features;
• process purchases, subscriptions, credits, and transaction records;
• provide support and send essential service messages;
• diagnose failures, improve reliability, and understand feature usage;
• detect fraud, abuse, infringement, and security incidents; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with law, and consent where requested.

AI Processing And Service Providers

Prompts, reference images, and related instructions may be sent to the AI provider selected or configured for a generation task. Generated files may be stored with cloud storage providers. We also use providers for hosting, authentication, payments, email, analytics, and customer support. These providers may process only the information needed to perform their services for us and are subject to their own terms and privacy commitments.

Do not submit highly sensitive personal information, confidential business information, or images you are not authorized to use. AI providers may process data in countries different from your own.

Cookies And Similar Technologies

We use essential cookies and local storage for sign-in, security, language, theme, and session preferences. We may use analytics technologies to measure product usage when analytics is enabled. You can update certain account details in the dashboard. To make another request, email us from the address associated with your account. Comic Brief and its providers may process information in multiple countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. Privacy protections in those countries may differ from those in your country.

Children

Comic Brief is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us to request deletion.
